Driven by passion, John evolved from a child playing with a tape recorder in his room to a popular DJ, entrepreneur, media content producer, announcer and voice actor with involvement in organizations such as Stingray, CBC, Astral Media, Rogers TV, Bell Media, Dream Street Pictures, RTA Productions and more. 

John is passionate about technology, media and music in both personal and professional landscapes. Before relocating to Toronto to pursue his Bachelor of Arts in Media Production, which he completed with Distinction and a spot on the Dean's List, he grew up in Northern New Brunswick with a keen interest in communications technologies. Presently, he serves as a Program Director for Stingray in Fredericton while hosting a nationally-syndicated Saturday evening show.

  • Ice-level camera operation after the QMJHL AB Titan's President's Cup win. Footage used nationally by Sportsnet.

  • DJ'd Toronto Argonauts pregames at BMO Field during their 2017 Grey Cup Champion season.

  • Interviewed Terry Fox's parents at the age of 10.

  • Booth announcer for the 40th Annual Tara Awards.

  • Booth announcer at the 2019 CWHL Awards.

  • Audio direction and production of Camp Cedar Lake, a 25 minute television pilot.

  • Programming internship at boom 97.3 Toronto, a radio station with one of the largest audiences in Canada.

  • Internship as Technician for CBC Radio at the Canadian Broadcasting Centre in Toronto. 

  • Production and conception of The Mixup, a weekly radio mixshow & podcast featuring exclusive sets from several of Toronto's busiest DJs.

  • Program direction of Phantom 103.3, a young community radio station in Bathurst, NB 

  • Host of weekly Weekend Country Heat on Stingray's Real Country and New Country radio stations nationwide.

Oversees all on-air, online and promotional content for Stingray Radio's six New Brunswick stations. Weekly host of Weekend Country Heat on Stingray's twenty country stations nationwide.
